Carlos Sainz was all set for another podium this season and finishing the job with a 1-2 in the bag, but things weren’t well for the Spaniard. He suffered a blow giving him his fourth DNF after the reliability issues becoming more and more common for the Ferrari team now.

Mattia has cleared the work over this failure is going on in Maranello and it seems to be the same as Charles’ blow on the streets of Baku.

“Obviously we need to look at what happened today,” he said. “Is it the same we had already in Baku with Charles? Very likely, ” Binotto confirmed.

“It’s certainly a concern, but the people back at Maranello are working very hard trying to fix things. Obviously, looking at what happened to Carlos, it has not been solved yet,” said Binotto.

Mattia believes in the changed parts in the new engines the drivers are receiving and it was very much overpowered as seen in the Red Bull Ring. But things still need to go perfectly for the Scuderia if they want to make Red Bull run for their money.
