Max Verstappen was the crowd favorite at the Red Bull ring and people were expecting him to put on a show for them and the Dutchman certainly did!

Max was flawless during all three sessions of Qualifying and was able to string up solid times lap after lap. While Perez struggled with balance, Max didn’t and was able to secure his third pole position of the season.

Moreover, while talking about his Qualifying outing Verstappen said, “My turns 1 and 3 were not the best, so I knew the rest of the lap had to be pretty spot on to get pole. I think especially the last sector was a lot better than what I showed before. That was also more on the edge, towards the limits of the track.”
