Lando Norris

Lando Norris finished P5 after a fantastic final run in the second part of Q3. He managed to split two Mercedes starting P4 and P6. Norris thanked his team for the perfect setup they gave him during the final run, he didn’t expect such a great run but was able to extract every bit from his car. McLaren would love to fully utilise this opportunity and score huge points extending their lead in the championship.

McLaren brought upgrades for the French weekend, which seemed to have worked out for the team. McLaren had a tough season to start with they have significantly improved their pace with time. They even have a podium in Imola but their performance seems to vary with the variation on track. McLaren seems to have a much better car than their rival Alpine as of now but the race will decide which way the battle ends as Fernando Alonso starts P7.
