The Japanese GP got underway in wet conditions, where a Red Flag was brought out on the third lap of the race, as Carlos Sainz collided with the barriers.

Both Valtteri and Zhou being on ground zero, were able to experience the tough conditions themselves, and Bottas while sharing his thoughts on the rain-drenched Japanese GP wrote, “No points today, but it motivates us, even more, to score in the next races. I’m glad all the drivers survived today, alive & healthy.”

While Alfa Romeo had an off day at the Suzuka Circuit, the only bright light for them, was the fact that they were able to score one point, as Zhou Guanyu got them the fastest lap point during the race.

Aston Martin, after Suzuka, has closed the gap to Alfa Romeo, and considering only four races are remaining in the season, would the Ferrari sister team be able to keep the upbeat Aston Martin team at bay?
