“It’s important we work together,” Sergio Perez comes up with a message for Max Verstappen ahead of French GP

Sergio Perez is starting tomorrow’s Grand Prix from P3 behind Max Verstappen and after the French qualifying session has indicated that it is going to be extremely important that he and Max are on the same page during the French Grand Prix.
Sergio Perez was second best to Max Verstappen during all thee practice sessions at Paul Ricard, however, when it came to Qualifying, the Mexican was able to bring his A-game for the team that propelled him to P3 on the grid for the race.
The 32-year-old while stressing about his difficulties at Paul Ricard during the post-qualifying interview said, “We did some setup changes and managed to get in the rhythm of understanding the tires.”
Sergio has indicated that on his side of the garage they were finding it difficult to find the correct balance on the RB18 and it was only after trying out quite a few setups, that they were able to land on the correct one.

The Mexican is starting tomorrow’s race from the second row on the grid and has got Lewis Hamilton to give him company.
Sergio Perez wants what is best for Red Bull in Paul Ricard

The upcoming French Grand Prix is going to be run under extreme temperatures where tire degradation is going to be a major issue for the teams.
The common belief in the paddock at the moment is that the teams would have to come up with really good strategies for the race as it certainly could make or break teams’ aspirations for the race.
Perez is aware of this fact and has said, “It’s also very important we work together to get the best outcome for the team.“
The tire deg is going to be a challenge for all the 10 teams and Sergio Perez ahead of the race has indicated that if Red Bull wants a decent result at Paul Ricard, then he and Max would have to work together.

Ferrari is starting the race from P1 with Charles Leclerc, and for Red Bull, it is going to be really important that Max and Sergio are able to overtake Leclerc as quickly as possible so that the team would be able to plan the rest of the race proficiently.
