“It’s raining in my living room”: Fans get emotional as Aston Martin reveals pictures from Sebastian Vettel’s last drivers’ parade at Japanese GP

As all good things come to an end, it is the end of a long and glorious career for Sebastian Vettel as the German announced his retirement after this year’s F1 season gets over. The 35-year-old racer has had phenomenal sucess on the racetracks, driving for some of the most successful teams in the pinnacle of motorsports, and now, it is difficult for his fans to admit that Vettel’s journey is in its last leg.

Sebastian Vettel had time and again stated in the past that he loves to return to Japan for the beauty of the Suzuka International Racing Circuit. In the press conference leading up to this year’s Grand Prix, he even said he would consider a cameo appearance post his retirement in F1 if that means he gets to drive a Formula 1 car in Japan as a replacement for another racer.

And to honor Sebastian’s last run in the Suzuka International Racing Circuit, Aston Martin took to Twitter and shared the flag design that they have picked for his car in the drivers’ parade, which took place ahead of the Main Race. The flag, splayed across Vettel’s AMR22, featured his racing number, alongwith “Danke Seb” written in his mother tongue, and “Arigato, Seb”, written in Japanese. This proved to be a tear-jerker for the fans who still have not come to terms with how they will not find Seb on the grid next year.
