Max Verstappen has annihilated his competition since the start of the 2022 F1 season. He has operated at an extremely high level, and this year, he has taken his dominance to a whole other league. Former 3-time World Champion Jackie Stewart has kept close tabs on Verstappen’s exploits and admitted that the Dutchman has not left much room for improvement.
Max Verstappen has been with Red Bull since 2016 and, year after year, has kept on honing his F1 skills. 2021 was the breakthrough year for him when he secured his first world title, and since then, he has never looked back and is on course to secure his third consecutive title at the end of 2023.
Jackie Stewart was recently asked to talk about the heroics of Red Bull’s most prized possession, and while applauding him, he told the BILD, “Usually drivers develop until their late twenties. But to be honest, I don’t see much room for Verstappen to improve. But you have to remember that he is not a normal 25-year-old.”
“He has been racing Formula 1 since he was 17 and has much more experience than others his age.” Stewart has made it known that for a 25-year-old driver, he has way more experience in F1 than the average 25-year-old. Moreover, has admitted that Verstappen is a complete racer and has not left much room for improvement.

Max Verstappen has got the world at his feet until 2026
While Jackie Stewart has been highly impressed with Max Verstappen’s F1 exploits in recent years, the latter has a very good chance to rule over the sport until the end of the 2025 season. Red Bull has nailed the new regulations that kicked in last year and could keep on out-developing its rivals for a few more years.
The RB19 has proved to be an absolute beast this year, and in the hands of Verstappen, its potential gets multiplied. The Milton-Keynes-based team has won all the races so far in the 2023 F1 season, and if the outfit can keep producing potent cars until the end of 2025, there is a very good possibility that Verstappen would remain the top dog in the sport.
However, it is not going to be easy for Max Verstappen to extend his dominant run for such a long period. Mercedes and Ferrari have all the resources at their disposal to keep improving, and who knows, if they can get on top of their issues in the coming years, they could snap Verstappen’s dominance before 2026 comes around.
