“Just you wait until I’m back @ 100%” : Lando Norris anticipates full recovery to fight for better results
Lando Norris
Lando Norris had one of the most ‘nerve-wracking’ race weekend in Monaco when he had to take on the Circuit de Monaco which is infamous for having the narrowest tracks in his MCL36. In the Monaco Grand Prix, Norris managed to clinch a P6 finish as he continued to struggle with tonsillitis issues.
The McLaren driver had a tough time during the Spanish Grand Prix at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya too which marked the start of his tonsillitis troubles. Norris had a spectacular qualifying session on Saturday in the Monaco Grand Prix as he finished at P5.
The young Briton only fell one place on the grid yesterday as he had a P6 finish in a race that was delayed by an hour due to persistent rain showers in Monaco. The drivers had to start the race behind a safety car.

Lando Norris cannot wait to achieve full recovery
The 22-year-old driver shared two photos of him on his social media handles after the conclusion of the nail-biting Monaco Grand Prix which was attended by a flurry of celebrities from all backgrounds.
He captioned the post as, “6th & fastest lap. Just you wait until I’m back @ 100%”. Norris is widely liked by people for his tenacity to push harder even while facing some of his worst troubles. This particular attribute of his has been usually praised by McLaren CEO Zak Brown who is more than pleased with the advancements that Norris has been making in McLaren’s MCL36.
The Briton will get the chance to fight for better results in the upcoming Azerbaijan Grand Prix at the Baku City Circuit. What helps his case is that there’s a two-week break before the commencement of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. He can use this time to focus on full recovery.
