Lando Norris breaks down his plans to end the ‘rollercoaster’ of a season on an all-time high

Lando Norris and McLaren had a difficult start to the season. However, the British team continued to overcome the early-season slump and saw a great performance rise after the mid-season break where Norris propelled himself to the sixth spot in the drivers’ standing.

The Briton trumpeted ahead of the Abu Dhabi GP and reminisced about the 2023 season. Norris also recalled his accident in the Las Vegas GP and exclaimed that he was finally feeling well enough to go racing again.

The 24-year-old further passed his regards to the crew at McLaren and complimented them on delivering a machine capable of fighting in the race and also thanked the fans’ well-wishes. Additionally, Norris claimed that the season was a rollercoaster for him as well as the team.

Lando Norris renounced his appreciation for the crew at McLaren and exclaimed that it was only right to finish the season on a high note and score more amazing points for the team in the ultimate race of the season.

From where we started to where we are is all the result of a lot of people’s hard work. It’s only right for us to go and do our best to finish the season with more points for the team.

Oscar Piastri also reminisced about the Abu Dhabi GP

Debutant Oscar Piastri, driving at McLaren was also complimentary of the team and its efforts to help the drivers in propelling to the forefront. Piastri claimed that he had some great memories at the Abu Dhabi GP from his junior categories and also added that he did his first rookie test with McLaren in 2023.

The Australian driver also cheered over his great results in his rookie season and commented that some of these results with stay with him forever. Piastri additionally talked about the final push required at the Abu Dhabi GP to score greater results for the team for the last time as the season’s conclusion nears.

Andrea Stella, team boss was also vocal in voicing his excitement in finishing the season on a high note. Both the young drivers of McLaren have outdone themselves this season and proved their amazing racing skills in Formula 1. The two drivers have sealed their subsequent seasons with McLaren and aim at scoring better and fighting at the forefront with McLaren.
