The 2023 Formula 1 summer break is in full swing at the moment. And McLaren star Lando Norris has been making full use of it. The Brit has been enjoying his time off from the pinnacle of motor racing and has been spotted at the Silverstone circuit taking in the atmosphere of the British Moto GP.

Lando Norris has a well-known reputation for being a motorhead, and when he is not doing his prolific thing in an F1 machinery, he is often seen wandering off and trying new things. Moto GP has always been one of his favorite motorsports other than F1 and thus, he has shown up at the Silverstone circuit in his trademark bucket hat.

Moreover, from the video that Moto GP’s official Twitter handle has shared, it is easy to ascertain that while Norris was having the time of his life on the grid, Ivan Ortola, who is currently fourth in this year’s Championship, was also happy to share his knowledge of the Moto GP world with him.

Lando Norris is in a brilliant space at the moment, as coming into the summer break on the back of a few sensational F1 outings has put his mind at ease in a season that has otherwise proved difficult for McLaren. The papaya-colored team is currently fifth in the Constructors Championship thanks to the efforts of Norris and his rookie teammate, Oscar Piastri.

Lando Norris is determined to take McLaren as high as possible in the 2023 F1 standings

While Lando Norris is currently having some fun during his time off from F1, he is fully aware of the task at hand during the 2023 F1 season. McLaren kicked off the campaign on the backfoot, struggling to land their car even in the Top 15. However, since the upgrades brought in Silverstone, the MCL60 has proved to be a potent machinery.

Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri both have done well for the papaya team in the few races before the summer break, and the former is well aware of his responsibility. Norris being a senior driver, is aware that it is his duty to lead the team from the front and help in finishing the ongoing campaign as high as possible.

McLaren currently has the Fred Vasseur-led Ferrari ahead of it in the Constructors standings. The Italian outfit has so far managed 191 points, whereas Norris and Co. are on 103. Considering everything, it will be fascinating to see how the two papaya drivers will perform during the second leg of the ongoing season.
