Lando Norris finished an impressive P5 at the recent Mexican GP despite starting P17 in the race. Norris has been scoring amazing results after the mid-season break. Ahead of the next Brazilian GP, he displayed his excitement for the race and recalled some moments from the past.
The Briton shows excitement over the end of the triple-header and the last sprint weekend of Formula 1. The 23-year-old also talked about the history and heritage at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace circuit, particularly with Ayrton Senna and McLaren.

Brazil, let’s go! It’s the end of the triple header and the final Sprint weekend of the season. I always enjoy coming here, and there’s so much history and heritage at this race, particularly with McLaren and Senna.

Norris also talked about his amazing performance in Mexico and exclaimed that the car had a great pace in Mexico. The Briton reassured his faith in the team and the machinery, and all that needs to be done is to ‘go out there and win it’ according to the young man Norris.
Hopefully it’s another opportunity for us to score some good points. The car had great pace in Mexico, allowing me to gain 12 places, which I’m pretty happy with. We know what we’re capable of, we just have to go out there and do it
Andrea Stella applauded Lando Norris’ Mexican performance
McLaren team boss Andrea Stella talked positively over Lando Norris’ P5 finish at the Mexican GP. As the Briton scythed through the field and overtook 12 cars, the boss recalled Fernando Alonso’s days. Despite the difficulties due to the Red Flag restart, Norris combed through the track and finally finished an impressive P5.

The boss later added that the team possibly had the pace to finish on par with Lewis Hamilton potentially. Stella later exclaimed that the race was a showcase of sheer competitiveness and dedication for Norris. Regardless, teammate Oscar Piastri had a hard time finishing the race with impressive result after sustaining aero damage to the car.
The team has been looking very promising after the mid-season break. McLaren has a lot of positive and negative memories with the Autódromo José Carlos Pace circuit. The papaya squad cheers onto the track and looks forward to scoring better results.
