Lando Norris splits up with his girlfriend Luisinha Oliveira after a period of 8 months

The 22-year old Mclaren driver, Lando Norris has just announced his breakup with the model Luisinha Oliveira. This comes as a shock as the pair had made their relationship public to the world in January this year.
The Portugese model had been dating Lando publicly since eight months ago, However fans believe that the relationship started much before that with the pair taking their time to reveal the relationship to the world. The pair have been photographed together in several F1 races as well as the Brit awards.
Lando Norris announced his breakup through an Instagram story in which he wrote, “After time and consideration, Luisa and myself have mutually decided to end our relationship but remain good friends. I wish her the world and have so much respect for her and all she does as an amazing and strong woman with nothing but kindness.“
“Please respect our decision and respect our – but more importantly and especially her privacy moving forward.
“Thank you for your endless support.”
Olivia is yet to issue a statement about the split.

Are Lando Norris’ talents being wasted at Mclaren?
Lando Norris made his F1 debut with Mclaren in 2019 making him the youngest British driver to start in Formula 1. Despite not scoring many points for the team in his debut season, he consistently outperformed his teammate during the qualifying parts of the race at the time. He is no doubt an exceptional driver having accomplished quite a lot at such an young age.
It is Lando’s fourth season with Mclaren and F1 and he has not won a podium yet. The British driver came close last year with his teammate Daniel Ricciardo, coming first and him second, during the Italian Grand Prix. Lando seemed to have more pace than his teammate and was raring to overtake but was told not to battle as the team needed the points to secure third place in the Constructors Championship.
However, this year the chances for Lando to win a race seem very bleak. Mclaren have failed to produce a race winning car this year and the odds seem to be stacked against them this season, currently the team is 5th in Constructors Championship with Lando scoring 76 points for the team. He has been performing exceptionally this season, despite the lack of pace in his car and with the correct circumstances and strategy could secure a race win this year.
