Lewis Hamilton has had impeccable form in all the outings he has had at the Brazilian Grand Prix. Hamilton has won at Interlagos thrice in 2016 and 2018, and his iconic comeback finish in 2021. The upcoming weekend will, for the third time running, hold a sprint race before the full Grand Prix.
With the new sprint format causing a lot of hassle for the teams with only one practice session, much speculation has gone into whether the format should be scrapped. In Austin, Mercedes and Ferrari couldn’t quite get their set-up right, and Charles Leclerc and Hamilton were disqualified from the race. Hamilton said recently that he would love a sprint race in Brazil where the grid would be reversed, though he did point out a flaw in the idea.

The best sprint race I ever had was when I started last. So I'm in favour of the swapping order. Except if we had that then everyone would just try and qualify last.Hamilton as reported by autosport.com
Hamilton adores the Brazil sprint race and has finished on the podium twice in the Grand Prix since the sprint format was introduced in 2021. In 2021, after being disqualified from the qualifying session and starting last, Lewis Hamilton used the sprint to gain positions for the race and ended up winning the Grand Prix. In 2022, both Mercedes drivers were first and second in the Grand Prix, with George Russell taking his first-ever win in Formula One.

Lewis Hamilton made a young fan’s dream come true in Brazil
A 13-year-old YouTuber, Yuri Turbo BR, recently had the opportunity of a lifetime as he met Hamilton before the Brazilian Grand Prix weekend. A crowd favorite in Brazil, Hamilton still made time for young Yuri and sat down for an interview with the Youtuber.

Yuri described the experience as a “dream come true” as he met George Russell, meeting both Mercedes drivers that very day. Yuri said that he appreciated it very much when Hamilton had welcomed him kindly, saying he did not want to leave his side that day.
“To wrap up the day spectacularly, ladies and gentlemen, the boss — he is amazing. He welcomed me and was so kind. I didn’t want to leave his side. What a wonderful human being ???.”

During the Mercedes press conference, the juvenile Youtuber asked Hamilton, whom he was inspired by, to become who he was and stay in the sport. Hamilton credited his father and Ayrton Senna, whom he watched as a child.
