Lewis Hamilton asks fans to stop recklessly getting onto race tracks after Silverstone’s unfortunate incident

Lewis Hamilton who managed a P3 finish in Silverstone after the race has asked fans to not get onto race circuits as it is extremely dangerous considering the speeds at which the cars zoom around a circuit.
At the start of the race when everyone was concerned for the health of Zhou Guanyu, a group of people tried to get onto the circuit to protest against something but thankfully because of the Red Flag the situation was quickly taken care of by the local authorities.
Lewis Hamilton was made aware of the incident after the race and the Brit immediately took to social media to make his feelings known regarding the incident. Through his Instagram story, Hamilton wrote, ” As we have seen today this is a very dangerous sport. I wasn’t aware of the protest today, and while I’ll support these standing up for what they believe in, it must be done safely. Please don’t jump onto our race circuits to protest, we don’t want to put you in harm’s way.”
Lewis Hamilton stressed that while he supports people who have the courage to stand up for their causes, he also believes that it should be done in a safe manner.

The 37-year-old is totally against the actions of the group that decided to jump on the track as he feels it is ludicrous and puts the lives of people in unnecessary danger.
Lewis Hamilton had a superb outing in front of home fans

The British Grand Prix was the most exciting race of the 2022 season so far and the jubilation of the fans was doubled when homeboy Lewis Hamilton managed to land his W13 in P3 during the dying stages of the race.
Hamilton took P3 from Charles Leclerc after getting into a real tussle with the Monegasque driver. Overall the day was a positive one for Mercedes barring the George Russell DNF and going forwards they would be looking to make a habit of putting strong performances like Silverstone more regularly.

The racing track is the place where Formula one drivers display their skills behind the wheel and it should not be used as a stage by people to get on and protest, for that there are other safe ways means of doing it.
