Lewis Hamilton is not in a particularly great situation with Mercedes right now. The car isn’t as competitive as hoped, so the seven-time world champion is stuck fighting for podiums, sometimes even less. But this doesn’t mean his off-track popularity, or brand has faded. He continues to be a wildly popular F1 driver, as well overall personality. He’s often seen hanging out with other celebrities. Most recently, he’s been seen with Shakira, and now, Leonardo DiCaprio.

Hamilton and Shakira have been seen in a restaurant, as well as on a boat in Miami. This has sparked dating rumors. All this while, there are also reports that Tom Cruise is ‘keen’ to pursue the Colombian starlet. The situation with DiCaprio, of course, is very different. The two know each other already – in fact, the ‘Titanic’ actor even invested in the Hamilton-backed, vegan, ‘Neat Burger‘ chain. They are both backers and have opened the restaurant’s first American outlet in New York City.

The two were recently spotted sitting alongside each other during Friday’s NBA Western Conference Semifinal. The game, held in L.A.’s Crypto.com Arena was between the Los Angeles Lakers and the reigning NBA champions, Golden State Warriors. The L.A. team came out on top 122-101. Steph Curry scored the most points in the game with 32, followed by LeBron James with 30. The Lakers won the series 4-2 and will battle it out with the Denver Nuggets in the WC final.

Hamilton wore a black baseball cap, and sunglasses, with an olive green jacket and pants combo, topped off with brown boots. DiCaprio, of course, is a lifelong Lakers fan. So, he sported a black Lakers cap, a black jacket, blue jeans, and black-white sneakers, with a face mask. He would’ve been a happy man at the end of the affair, considering his team came out on top. Apart from DiCaprio, Hamilton also interacted with Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner.

Apart from Leonardo DiCaprio and Lewis Hamilton, Jack Nicholson also attended

Jack Nicholson, the legendary actor, seen in ‘Chinatown’ and ‘The Shining’, has had a long love affair with the Lakers. Having been a season ticket holder since 1970, he is one of the most famous fans of the Los Angeles-based team. He was in courtside on Friday’s Lakers-Warriors match-up as well. The 86-year-old also attended the previous game of the series, on May 9. Back on April 28, he was also in attendance to watch the Lakers battle the Memphis Grizzlies.

Others in attendance included actors Woody Harrelson, Michael B. Jordan, Orlando Bloom, and Nicholson’s son, Ray. Jack Harlow also came to watch the game. Now, on to Leonardo DiCaprio, he will soon grace the screen again in Martin Scorsese’s highly-awaited ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’, based on the book of the same name by David Grann. The film will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 20, 2023. The US wide-release is scheduled for October 20.

As for Lewis Hamilton, he will be focusing on his goals for the season with Mercedes. The Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, where the Silver Arrows are bringing major upgrades, may just be the crucial point of the season. While it’s not expected to help them fight Red Bull, it’s a good step for the future and should help them in the fight for P2, with Aston Martin and Ferrari. These other two teams are also expected to bring upgrades to the race, so a good battle may be in store for fans.
