Whenever the world as a united front takes two steps forward, it is pegged four steps back because of the actions of terrorist organizations. The ongoing Isreal-Hamas war has shaken the people to their core, and amidst the chaos, F1 driver Lewis Hamilton has echoed the United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’s appeal.

Israel, in retaliation to the heinous acts of the terror group Hamas, recently started deploying heavy artillery on Gaza, and this has led to the killings of thousands of innocent people. Looking at everything from the outside, Antonio Guterres wants a ceasefire between the two so that the needs of the wounded can be looked after, along with some other things.

Lewis Hamilton, who has always raised his voice in critical situations, has once again stood up and asked for a ceasefire around the Isreal-Gaza tussle. Via his Instagram handle, he has shared the ‘A humanitarian catastrophe is unfolding in front of our eyes’ post of the UN Secretary-General and written, ‘This violence needs to stop.’

The Brit has made it crystal clear that he completely agrees with the opinion of the UN Secretary-General on the Gaza situation.

Entire lives, families, and, homes are being destroyed. The people in power need to work for peace, not war, and need to end this. There must be an immediate ceasefire.
