Seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton has sent waves of excitement through the film industry with his announcement about the highly anticipated Formula One-themed movie he is co-producing, which stars the Hollywood heavyweight Brad Pitt. The film, set to hit theatres in 2024, has been the talk of the town with its star-studded cast and promising storyline. In a recent interview, Hamilton hinted that he might make a special appearance in the movie, adding another layer of intrigue to the already buzzing project.
During a conversation about the Cannes Film Festival and the movie’s progress, Lewis Hamilton expressed his enthusiasm for the project, which reportedly has a $155 Million budget, saying, “Yeah, we’re gonna have an amazing cast.” While acknowledging his role as a producer and advisor, he revealed, “I don’t really have any desire to be in front of the camera.” However, he playfully hinted at the possibility of a small cameo, stating, “Maybe I’ll slot in and play a small cameo.”
Hamilton’s involvement in the film goes beyond producing. He has been actively collaborating with Brad Pitt on the screenplay and ensuring the project captures the real essence of Formula One while promoting diversity within the sport. While Hamilton remains primarily focused on his behind-the-scenes role, he doesn’t rule out the possibility of a future movie debut. “I’ll wait for my movie debut, probably movie debut later on because I’m going to need to train and practice because I don’t want to suck at it.” He acknowledges that if a Top Gun 3 film materialized, he would eagerly embrace the chance, saying, “If Top Gun 3 ever happens, I’m going to be there, and I will miss the race for it, just so you know. it, just so you know.
