Despite being a former 7-time Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton still receives criticism and abuse from all over the world and via the latest edition of Vanity Fair he has given a deep insight into how tough it has been for him over the years and has also delved on last year’s chaotic Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Vanity Fair through its Instagram media handle has broken the September edition of its magazine and has quoted Hamilton saying, “If I let those words—those projections people are putting out, those little digs—if I let that bring me down, then they win.”

The 2021 edition of Formula one ended in deep sorrow for Lewis Hamilton as he lost out on his record-breaking eighth World Championship on the last lap of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

He came into this season with the hope of rectifying that, however, the W13 is nowhere near the liveries of Red Bull and Ferrari. After 13 rounds, the Silver Arrows are completely out of the running for both Championships.

The only positive news that has come out for Lewis Hamilton and Co. is the improvement that the team has shown in the recent races. Hamilton is on a streak of 5 consecutive podium finishes and from the upcoming Belgian Grand Prix onwards, the target for him is going to be to squeeze in at least one race win.
