Recently, news emerged about a distressing incident involving Lewis Hamilton’s former Pagani Zonda 760 LH. The customized car was tragically involved in a severe crash in Conwy, Wales. Images circulating on social media platforms verified the vehicle’s identity as Hamilton’s former prized possession.
Lewis Hamilton, renowned for his seven-time world champion titles, boasts an impressive collection of exotic cars. Among them, the special-edition Pagani Zonda 760 LH stood out as a fan favorite. Acquiring the car in 2014 for a staggering €1.4 million, he nurtured an affinity for this striking purple marvel. The streets of Monaco occasionally witnessed the maestro at the wheel, effortlessly navigating the lavish boulevards.
Regrettably, the Pagani Zonda’s journey wasn’t entirely unblemished during Hamilton’s ownership. The Principality of Monaco bore witness to a minor mishap as Hamilton inadvertently brushed against two parked cars. This incident, however minor, spoke to the genuine, lived experience of owning and driving such an exquisite automotive masterpiece.

Severe damage befalls Lewis Hamilton’s former Pagani Zonda
In January 2022, a significant turn occurred: Lewis Hamilton opted to part ways with the Zonda. This decision proved financially astute as he garnered a staggering €10 million from the sale. The identity of the discerning buyer remained shrouded in anonymity, adding an air of intrigue to the transaction.
Following its departure from Hamilton’s possession, the special edition Pagani seemed to vanish from the public eye for well over a year until the present moment. Recently, the unmistakable figure of Lewis Hamilton’s former Pagani Zonda emerged again, rekindling attention as it navigated the passages of the Penmaenbach Tunnel in Conwy. However, the reunion was marred by a sudden collision with the tunnel wall, leaving the car visibly worse for wear.
The impact took a toll on the suspensions, windshield, and bodywork, leaving the vehicle’s form now in a state of disarray. Fortunately, amidst the wreckage, there emerged a silver lining: both the owner and the car’s driver escaped the ordeal unscathed.
Mercedes currently occupies the second position in the constructors’ standings, amassing a commendable tally of 247 points. In a spirited pursuit, Aston Martin trails closely in third place, holding a respectable count of 196 points, while Ferrari, not far behind, secures the fourth spot with a total of 191 points.
