After the Australian GP, Logan Sargeant is P19 in the F1 drivers championship standings.

Logan Sargeant, an American racer, was confirmed as Williams Racings’ driver last season at the United States Grand Prix. However, he had to obtain Super License points to race in F1. Sargeant obtained the necessary points after F2’s feature race in Abu Dhabi. In November 2022, he was officially announced as the Williams Racing F1 team’s driver. He replaced Nicholas Latifi and now drives alongside Alex Albon

Logan Sargeant is the first American F1 driver in almost eight years. The team is thrilled to have him. Sargeant has been fulfilling his role in Williams Racing on and off the track. The 22-year-old visited the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square along with his team. In honor of the occasion, Logan Sargeant rang the closing bell.

Nasdaq Stock Market is an American stock exchange. They are based in New York. It is ranked second on the stock exchanges list, behind New York Stock Exchange. The market opening and closing ceremonies for April 2023 take place on weekdays. It was held at the Nasdaq MarketSite Studio in Times Square and around the globe. Williams Racing and their American driver Logan Sargeant had the opportunity to be present and were honored to ring the closing bell.

Williams Racing shared the news on social media. The team posted several images and captioned them, “Williams Racing hit Time Square” and “Logan Sargeant was on hand to ring the Nasdaq Exchange closing bell”. The F1 fans were quick to react. “The team at Williams is really at the forefront of gaining exposure for the Williams name and brand which can only be a good thing”, “Logan Sargeant…. for president?”, “Logan Sargent talking about the economy so something I never thought I needed” and “Sarge on the presidential run” were some of the reactions. The fans were happy and proud of Logan Sargeant. It is not often a Formula 1 driver rings the closing bell for a stock market in Times Square. It was a beautiful moment for Williams Racing. The Nasdaq Market Site released a 9 minutes video of the ceremony. Sargeant thanked the hosts for having him and stated he was looking forward to the three Formula 1 races that will be held in the US.

Logan Sargeant is 19th in the F1 driver’s championship after the Australian GP. The American had the best finish at the season-opener in Bahrain. He finished 12th, above the other rookies. The 22-year-old finished 16th in the Saudi Arabian GP. As for the chaotic Australian GP, Sargeant, unfortunately, did not complete the race. However, it is his first year as an F1 driver. Only three races are over so far. Sargeant has time to prove himself in the sport.
