Lando Norris has established himself as one of the most talented drivers on the F1 grid. However, the British driver has made a few mistakes over the years that have hampered his prospects. The McLaren driver has always admitted his faults in the media. Now, F1 presenter Martin Brundle has given Norris a piece of advice.
The McLaren driver claimed that he has been struggling with a one-lap pace. However, Lando Norris went on to take pole for the Sprint race at the Brazilian GP. Subsequently, Brundle advised the 23-year-old to stop being hard on himself. Martin Brundle admitted that Norris had not asked for any advice. Although, Brundle wanted to give the 23-year-old some words of wisdom.
I would say I admire your humility and your honesty. Don’t be so hard on yourself, to give you a piece of advice you haven’t asked for.
Martin Brundle said as reported by PlanetF1
The former F1 driver respected Norris’ humility and honesty. Additionally, the F1 presenter believed that Lando Norris shouldn’t pressure himself. As the F1 paddock would do the job for him and criticize every aspect of his driving. Certainly, Norris has faced some harsh judgment from critics and fans over the years.
Because everybody else will be, everybody’s ready to be in the world of sport
Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri bring in impressive results for McLaren
The Briton joined McLaren in 2019 and has stayed with the team ever since. Norris has blended himself perfectly with the Woking-based team and shares great relations with CEO Zak Brown and Team Principal Andrea Stella. The 23-year-old has worked together with the British team in its journey to come back to the front of the grid.

Lando Norris has delivered some outstanding results in the latter half of the season with multiple podiums to his name. However, Norris’ rookie teammate Oscar Piastri has had an equally impressive campaign as well. Piastri even claimed the F1 Sprint victory at the Qatar GP, bringing the team’s first win in a GP weekend since Daniel Ricciardo’s Monza victory in 2021.
