Max Verstappen has been mesmerizing the fans since the start of the 2022 Formula 1 season. Verstappen has proved too mighty for all its competitors and while he has won the bulk of the Grand Prix events during the ongoing campaign, he has admitted that he hates losing but is not afraid of it. He understands the nature of the pinnacle of motor racing.

Max Verstappen has triumphed in thirteen of the sixteen events that have taken place this year and has looked in a league of his own. His most recent blemish came during the Singapore Grand Prix weekend, where the RB19 was surprisingly not up to the mark. Other than that, he has been absolutely flawless behind the wheel of the Red Bull machinery.

While shedding light on how he perceives winning and losing in F1, he said via The Mind Set Win podcast, “No, I’m not afraid of losing. I do hate losing, but that’s also part of the game. At the end of the day, you lose more than you win. I lost a lot also before winning in F1. I’ve been through the stage of not being able to win and now that we’re winning you have to just enjoy the moment and enjoy while it lasts.”

Sergio Perezs DNF at the Suzuka International Race Course has opened the door for Verstappen to clinch the title in Qatar, and he is the odds-on favorite to achieve the target. Red Bull secured the Constructors title during the Japanese GP, and if the Dutchman can do his prolific thing once again, the celebrations would be wild in the Austrian camp at the end of the Lusail circuit event.

The Milton-Keynes-based team has proved itself to be the team to beat under the new regulations, and there is a genuine belief in the F1 paddock that they can continue their dominance over the sport until the end of 2025. Moreover, with Max Verstappen in their ranks, the sky is the limit for the Red Bull Formula 1 team.
