Max Verstappen has become a three-time Formula 1 world champion after his second-place finish in the recently concluded Qatar Sprint race. Verstappen only needed three points to secure the 2023 title during the 19-lap race, and he and Christian Horner have been seen having a wholesome conversation over the Red Bull team radio at the chequered flag.

Max Verstappen has been in sublime form during the ongoing campaign. Since Sergio Perez‘s horrendous outing in Japan, the 26-year-old was tipped as the odds-on favorite to secure the 2023 title during the ongoing Qatar event. He has done exactly that, and the whole Red Bull Formula 1 team is on cloud nine at the moment.

Christian Horner and Verstappen have engaged in a conversation after the fall of the chequered flag, and their conversation went like this: Christian: “Max, you are a three-time world champion. That’s unbelievable, mate. Absolutely unbelievable. It’s been an incredible year for you.”

Verstappen replied, “Yeah, unbelievable, guys. Yeah, I don’t know what to say. Incredible year. I mean, thank you for providing me with such a car. It’s been a pleasure so far this year.”

He added, “And I just want to say a big thank you to everyone here at the track, back at the factory. Putting all the effort in, you know, to be able to achieve something like this. I can’t thank you all enough. And besides all the performance-related stuff, it’s also really enjoying working with you all. That’s probably even the most important at the end. So, thank you very much.”

Max Verstappen would look to secure victories in all the remaining races in 2023

While Max Verstappen has become a three-time F1 world champion, he will not ease off even a tiny bit in his pursuit of perfection. The Qatar Grand Prix is taking place tomorrow, and he will give his all once again to secure his fourteenth 2023 victory in a dominating fashion. He is starting the event from the pole position.

Moreover, after the Qatar weekend, there will still be five races left in the ongoing campaign, and considering how mighty he has proven himself to be behind the wheel of the RB19 this year, several eyes will be on him during all the remaining events. It all starts for him on a fresh note during tomorrow’s 54-lap event at the Lusail International Circuit.

Max Verstappen has secured another world title and, with each passing year, is adding more and more stars to his list of accolades. Since the 2021 season, he has witnessed a massive surge in his reputation as an F1 racing driver, and seeing how Red Bull has performed under the new regulations, he is going to be one of the favorites to win the title again in 2024.
