Max Verstappen and Red Bull have dominated Formula 1 this year. The Austrian team has won all 14 races so far this season with rivals not even coming close to snatching a team victory. However, the Milton Keynes-based team might need to alter the RB-19 in light of a new technical directive in Singapore.
The new Technical Directive for the Singapore GP cracks down on the use of flexible front and rear wings. This could have a significant impact on teams that are running such parts on their cars. However, Max Verstappen insisted that this would cause no harm to Red Bull as the team never ran such wings. He told RaceFans, “I don’t think it will. We never had any flexible front wing or whatever so I don’t think it will hurt us.”
The reigning world champion recognized that the Marina Bay circuit has posed a challenge to Red Bull in the past. Although, Verstappen believed that the team could still bag a good result this time around. The Dutch driver admitted that competition might be fierce in the streets of the city-state and said, “The street circuits are a little bit tougher for our car. I still think that we can do a good job but it will be very tight.”
Max Verstappen is keen on continuing his winning streak

The 25-year-old made history at the Italian GP after winning his tenth race in a row. As such, Verstappen took the record for the longest winning streak in F1 after defeating Sebastian Vettel‘s nine-race streak. Now, the Dutch driver has admitted that would love to continue this success in the rounds to come. However, Max Verstappen admitted that the streak’s end remains inevitable.
The Dutch driver stated, “Of course, I want to try and continue that streak. But I know that there will be a day, of course, that it will stop.” The reigning world champion has achieved immense success in recent years with no driver coming close to the 25-year-old this season. Verstappen enjoys a lead of a whopping 145 points to second-placed Sergio Perez in the championship.

It remains to be seen how Verstappen performs in the tight and twisty circuit this weekend.
