Max Verstappen is having the best year of his career with a conformable path towards his second world title. He is dominating the championship with a gap that would be a miracle to even cut close to. But there are some problems that Red Bull’s RB-18 has been suffering with throughout the season no matter the position they found themselves in.

Red Bull hasn’t been the fastest car along the track in the 13 races, some tracks supporting their package and some not so much. Mostly RB-18 was the second fastest car but it was Max Verstappen’s unrivalled content of winning that placed him on the top of the podium.

Though, Red Bull are way ahead of any of its rival they haven’t breached down the way of new 2022 regulations regarding the Aerodynamic and new tyre compounds of the car. Max Verstappen looks for a ‘Perfect’ way to end his season, solving all the underlying mistakes his car has.

Red Bull currently is over the weight limit being 10 kilos over Ferrari getting themselves down on the turning point. Heavier cars are much more difficult to stop when they turn on corners. Max holds his way with the turning problem as the team has a good straight-line speed.

Another problem Red Bull and every other team had were the sets of new 18-inch tyres giving them some hard time with a balance at the front. Max Verstappen was critical about the new tyres not solving the problems it was mainly introduced for, degradation.

Anyway, Red Bull being a bit in struggle is still dominant in the league leading the pack with 100 points. Max Verstappen performing at his best is 80 points ahead of his rival.
