Max Verstappen has been the man to beat during the 2023 F1 season, but his Q2 exit at the Singapore GP qualifying has been a huge shock to him and the whole Red Bull team. Verstappen was off the pace on Friday, but no one, including himself, was expecting him to get knocked out at the end of Q2.
The shocking incident has not sat well in the conscience of Max Verstappen, and at the end of the Q2 session, he was seen going on a furious rant over his team radio. With his recent exit, the Dutchman has seen himself not making it into Q3 for the first this year. Sergio Perez, in the other RB19, could not get out of Q2 after his untimely spin.
After the session, while conversing with his team over the radio, Verstappen said, “I don’t know if you saw that, but that was fucking shocking. Absolutely shocking experience.” Looking at the reaction, it is quite clear how frustrated the 25-year-old was during the Q2 session of Singapore qualifying.

Max Verstappen’s 2023 winning run could come to an end during the Singapore GP
Max Verstappen has been sensational during the ongoing campaign and has nailed every qualifying session and Grand Prix so far. However, with his recent Q2 exit at the Marina Bay Circuit, his winning run is in immense jeopardy and could come to a bitter end tomorrow.
As things stand, Verstappen will start the race out of 12th position during tomorrow’s race, but he could be pushed further down the order as, during the qualifying session, he was at the center of a few impending incidents. Quite a few drivers were seen complaining about his antics, and for them, he is currently under investigation.
No matter what the outcome is of the ongoing investigation, one thing is for certain: Max Verstappen has an uphill battle staring in his face. He has not been in a vulnerable position through the ongoing campaign, and because of this, the eyes of the whole world would be glued on his exploits tomorrow.
