Red Bull Racing presented their 2024 F1 challenger, RB20, at the team’s headquarters, in Milton Keynes, England. The car launch was a much-awaited event due to the ongoing investigation involving the team principal Christian Horner. The media was curious about the specifics of the situation and how it was impacting the team as a whole, especially since the team’s leader was present at the launch.

Christian Horner is under investigation after one of the female employees made an allegation against him for inappropriate and controlling behavior. Horner has denied all the accusations and has stated that his focus will be on the future of the Red Bull.

Despite this statement, the media found a different way to ask the world champion about the distractions he might have faced with all the turmoil that was going on. Verstappen responded to it confirming that he doesn’t see it causing any issues and that he is focussed on the 2024 season.

From my side, I am very focused on my performance to get ready, to be fit, to be ready to drive the car, to be discussing things with the engineers, what you want to do.

Max Verstappen is excited about the forthcoming RB20

Red Bull is all set to focus on their fourth win with their new RB20. The Chief designer Adrian Newey refers to Bahrain’s upcoming season, where teams will test their new racing vehicles. According to him, RB20 is better on all fronts than its previous versions. Currently Red Bull expects Verstappen to win his fourth world championship. But the idea of breaking his record once more does not appeal to Verstappen,

I especially want to have fun. Have a strong weekend. That is my motivation. Of course, we want to win as many races as possible. But if the car is good enough, that will happen automatically.
Max Verstappen said.

According to Verstappen, only time will tell whether they will win this year. For him what’s more important is that they get off to a good start soon, as well as the car starts feeling familiar quickly. In the meantime, the world champion looks forward to getting the first real impression of the new RB20.
