Max Verstappen, the reigning World Champion, has been on a scintillating run during the 2023 F1 season. He has absolutely decimated his competition left and right and no one has been able to stand up against him, not even his teammate, who also got the same car underneath him.
Max Verstappen has operated on a whole other level and has forced several haters to change their opinion of him. While the Formula 1 train is currently at a halt because of the ongoing summer break, the Dutchman has taken this opportunity to reveal which race, according to him, has been his best outing of 2023.
While shedding light on the same, he added, “I think the one actually which I really enjoy was Miami. It’s a tough track, also to get through the field, but we managed I think that whole race quite well – after, of course, the tough qualifying. So probably for me, that was a very enjoyable one. But also today, the last one in Hungary – there are a lot of nice ones.”
“I think also throughout the first part of the season, we have improved as a team. And also from my side, I feel more comfortable in the car. It’s all about little details. So a lot of enjoyable moments. It’s tough to pick one.” Verstappen has made it quite evident that it is hard for him to pick one from the various brilliant outings he has had so far this year.
Max Verstappen is cruising at the front end of the grid
While Max Verstappen has carried his brilliant form from last year into the ongoing campaign, the Milton-Keynes-based Red Bull team has also done a superb job in coming up with potent machinery. The RB19 is easily the best car on the 2023 grid and this has also played a role in making Verstappen’s life a bit easier at the north end of the grid.
However, despite this fact, nothing can be taken away from the prolific racing skills that the reigning World Champion has shown so far in the ongoing campaign. He has dominated the other 19 drivers quite easily and this is one of the main reasons why he is currently sitting pretty at the top of the driver’s standings.
He is currently on 314 points in the standings and his nearest rival, Sergio Perez, has only managed 189 points in the same number of F1 outings. Considering everything, the Dutchman can have a relaxed summer break without any worry and can come roaring for the second leg of the 2023 campaign that kicks off on the 25th of this month.
