Max Verstappen spotted celebrating Miami GP victory with Martin Garrix
Formula 1 successfully completed its 5th round of the 2022 season as it concluded the inaugural Miami Grand Prix. The driver standing on the top podium position after three days of on track action is the Red Bull driver, Max Verstappen. The Dutch did not have the smoothest starts to his weekend, as reliability issues of his RB18 hindered his running in the practice session. Verstappen only managed 5 flying laps on Friday and was left sitting in his garage for most of the practice session.
Coming into Qualifying session, the Dutch made a mistake in Q3 which resulted in him coming up short of the pace of Charles Leclerc. Max managed to grab P3 on the grid with Sergio Perez locking out the second row with him for the race. However, a stellar driving performance by the defending world champion viewed him take the lead of the Grand Prix in lap 9. Verstappen lead the whole race after taking the lead from Charles Leclerc and took maximum points from the weekend by scoring the fastest lap point.
