Max Verstappen has been the man to beat this season and everywhere he goes people flock in huge numbers to get a glimpse of the young driver, and now with the Dutchman’s Austrian Grand Prix helmet up for grabs on the auction table, people from all over the world are bidding in order to get their hands on it.
Max Verstappen’s helmet is being auctioned with the intent of raising funds for Red Bull’s charity called Wings for life and within a few days, a considerable amount has already been generated.
The helmet that the 24-year-old wore at the Red Bull Ring was a special helmet as it was very different from the usual white and gold pattern that Verstappen has worn till the Silverstone Grand Prix.
During the Austrian event, Verstappen wore a helmet that had white, blue, and even green accents, and what makes it more special is the fact that the highest bidder would get the helmet personally handed over by the 2021 World Champion.

The hype around the auction for Max Verstappen’s helmet is massive and the good thing for all the parties is the fact the auction is going to last till the Dutch Grand Prix and there are still 55 days left in the completion of the auction.
People have already bid huge amounts for the helmet and someone named ‘Radoslavr’ has bid a whopping amount of 132,500 euros. The competition is going to last till September 4 and as per the Auctioneers, the next bidder must bid a sum of 1,35,000 euros to get their hands on the Helmet.
Max Verstappen has a massive fan following wherever he goes and the way the auction is picking up pace, it seems all the interested parties are going to be in a hard-fought battle and it is going to be fascinating to see who would manage to come out trumps.
The auction winner would be able to kill two birds with one stone as on one hand, they would get Max Verstappen’s helmet and on the other, they would also be able to meet the Dutchman. This is a unique opportunity that does not come around often and people should go all-in as after all the auction is being held for a good cause.
