Max Verstappen, the reigning World Champion, has been making all the headlines this year, but for a change, his dad, Jos Verstappen, has taken on the mantle. As per the latest, senior Verstappen will be seen driving an old McLaren F1 car at the Legends parage that will take place at the Red Bull ring.

Jos Verstappen will be seen driving McLaren’s 1972 M8F, well-known from the American CanAm Series. He would try to push the car to its limits to put on a show at the event. One thing that makes the car quite famous is that, once, the car was burned out completely but was also completely restored.

The whole Legends Parade has got a star-studded line-up, and Red Bull’s very own Helmut Marko is also going to be seen spreading his magic at the event. He will be seen getting behind the wheel of a BRM and will also see David Coulthard, Mark Webber, and Alexander Wurz take part in the parade.

While Jos Verstappen has got his work cut out for him at the Red Bull ring, Max Verstappen would also look to continue his winning run in the presence of his father. Senior Verstappen is regularly seen cheering on his son during Grand Prix weekends, and on a day when the former would get into a car himself, the 25-year-old would want to make it special.

Max Verstappen has so far amassed six Grand Prix wins in the eight that have taken place and has looked ruthless in them. He has dominated his teammate and comfortably sits at the top in the 2023 Drivers Championship with 195 points. He has already created a decent gap between himself and Sergio Perez, who is currently second.

The Austrian GP is a special event for Red Bull for several reasons, and considering that a legends parade is also to take place during the three-day extravaganza, Max Verstappen will try his best to score another victory for the energy drink team and also spread smiles all across the Red Bull Ring.
