Max Verstappen’s Red Bull confirms they already started working on the 2025 F1 challenger
Red Bull started work on their 2024 challenger RB20 earlier than any other team in 2023 after a dominant campaign winning both championships.

The Red Bull team has surpassed all expectations in the 2023 season, dominating with the extremely quick RB19. After an incredibly good start to the season, Red Bull proceeded to win 21 of the 22 races in the 2023 season spearheaded by Max Verstappen.
Anticipating success in 2023, Red Bull began working on their 2024 RB20 early. Now, as the season has concluded and 2024 has commenced, Red Bull’s head of performance engineering Ben Waterhouse has confirmed that Red Bull is moving on even to their 2025 challenger, the RB21.
The RB20 is a car that is at least six months old, and we are already starting to move our attention to the RB21.Waterhouse said, as reported by Formula Passion.
The Red Bull cars are being pioneered by Adrian Newey, an expert aerodynamicist whose engineering has taken drivers and cars to twelve Constructors’ championships and thirteen Drivers’ titles. Newey was instrumental in designing the RB19 and the upcoming RB20.
Former F1 team owner Eddie Jordan rules out competition to Red Bull success in 2024
Red Bull saw unprecedented success in 2022 as well as 2023, claiming the drivers’ and teams’ titles in both cases. 2023 in particular saw the Milton Keyes outfit smash multiple records, leading them to start development on the following season’s car earlier than the rest.
Former team owner Eddie Jordan, whose squad won races and competed for the championship in 1989, has made a prediction of Red Bull’s future. Jordan has claimed that no team will be able to challenge Red Bull in 2024, as the team is too far ahead of their competition.

Red Bull has increased their gap to the field by a huge amount since the new regulations came in 2022. Now, rival squads will be looking forward to the 2026 season, when regulations will one more be overhauled, giving them a chance to catch up.
