The year 2023 is officially done and dusted and it has left Red Bull and its supporters with pleasant memories. Last year’s F1 campaign was simply magical for Max Verstappen and Co. and the Dutchman has recently come up with a special message to properly bring the curtain down on 2023.

Max Verstappen and the Red Bull F1 team operated in a league of its own during the 2023 F1 season. They were quite easily able to keep their rivals at bay with the team managing to amass a highly impressive twenty-one grand prix wins out of the possible twenty-two.

Verstappen is immensely proud of his team and to end 2023 on the right note, he recently said;

 This season has, of course, been incredible. To win 21 out of the 22 races is a fantastic achievement for the whole team, and for me to have won 19 of them is simply unbelievable. We have a pretty short winter ahead now so it's really important to spend some time with family and friends. I want to wish everyone a great holiday. Have a simply lovely time and see you in 2024.

The 26-year-old had a year to remember during the 2023 F1 season. From his comments, it is clear that he is incredibly proud of his efforts but has also indicated that he has already got his eyes set on doing his prolific thing during this year’s campaign of the pinnacle of motor racing.

Max Verstappen will eye a 4th consecutive F1 title this year

While Max Verstappen is immensely pleased with his exploits during last year’s campaign, he understands what will be at stake during the 2024 F1 season. Verstappen has won the F1 title three times since 2021 and this year, he will have the opportunity to take his tally to four.

If he manages to do so, he will then join an elite list of drivers who have won four world titles. Sebastian Vettel did it during his 2010-2013 Red Bull run and considering this, Verstappen could also do the same if he manages to perform at a high level this year and secure the world championship.

However, keeping in view that it has been two years since the dawn of the new F1 regulations, there is a growing belief among the F1 pundits that there could be at least 2-3 teams fighting for the world championship next year. 2024 could prove to be a rather tricky affair for Verstappen and Red Bull.
