Ever since stepping into Formula 1 after earning the second runners-up position in the FIA F2 Championship 2018, Lando Norris has been a loyal McLaren member. The Briton has spent 5 seasons with the papaya army already and has seen his teammates change three times since Carlos shifted to Ferrari, Daniel Ricciardo was prematurely ousted by McLaren themselves, and Oscar Piastri was brought in to replace the Honey Badger at the start of the 2023 campaign. And now, Lando Norris‘ deal with the Woking outfit stands to be terminated at the end of 2025.
While at McLaren, Lando Norris has seen considerable success as he has bagged 633 points and has gotten 13 podiums finishes as well. But it is also true that Norris does not have a single Grand Prix win even after spending five years in the pinnacle of motorsports. As one of the most talented racers of his generation, it is quite strange that Lando Norris currently holds the record for the most number of podium finishes without a win. This has led to several speculations regarding the fact that Lando might switch teams once his contract gets over but Zak Brown believes that will not be the case.
Speaking at a recent interview, Zak Brown talked about the value Lando Norris adds to his team. He also expressed his interest in further continuing to deal with the 24-year-old once his deal comes to an end in 2025.
Certainly, he's [Norris] hot property, if you like. So, we'd like to lock him down sooner rather than later. I think he's very much enjoying his time at McLaren - the dream is to win races and a world championship together and I think Lando's all-in for achieving that with us.Zak Brown said about Lando Norris, as reported by Express UK.
Zak Brown’s team McLaren shockingly reveal their new livery design for 2024 campaign
As the 2023 season has come to an end and all the racing personnel are back from their off-season vacations, work is going on in full swing at each of the team headquarters for ensuring their challengers for the next season are readied on time. Some of the teams like Ferrari, Williams, and Mercedes have also revealed the dates when they would be releasing the first peeks at their 2024 cars. And McLaren have stepped it up by releasing their livery design before any other team has.

On January 16, McLaren suddenly dropped the livery design for their 2024 campaign without any preamble. Their new car will have a beautiful combination of papaya and anthracite. They have decided to do away with the blue accents which could be seen in their earlier cars. Of course, they will still be releasing some special liveries which the teams mostly use before any memorable event. Last year, McLaren debuted a special livery design ahead of the first-ever Las Vegas GP.
