Sebastian Vettel and Mick Schumacher have a great relationship and it’s clearly visible with the bond they have shown in the last 18 months. The two Germans have been very close friends more like a Tutor Mentor relationship between them.
Sebastian Vettel, Aston Martin driver, supported Mick Schumacher for the poor results he has been serving this season. Mick has been having a struggling year, the young german joined the sport in 2021 in the Haas F1 team, and had a decent year. But 2022 has been a decent year for the young German after a bad start to his season.
Sebastian Vettel commends his mentee’s hardwork over the last two seasons, “I know how much effort he’s putting in and how hard he is working. So, I think Mick is on the right track. And it’s great to see that he had the results that he deserved. So, I’m very, very happy. And I hope for him that, you know, the car will continue to be strong enough for him to show what he’s capable of,” said Sebastian.

Sebastian Vettel and Mick Schumacher’s first half of the season

Sebastian Vettel has had one of his worst seasons in Formula 1 with Aston Martin in his second year. He has now retired from Formula 1 but is leaving another young German to take his position, as he did for his father. Vettel has been driving the worst car in his career that even struggles to score a point.
Mick Schumacher has been having a better off season with a car that probably is worth scoring bulk in points. He did struggle at the start of the season but he finally scored his first points and back to back and is safely below his mentor Sebastian in the championship.
Sebastian and Mick are currently 14th and 15tj in the championship table with 16 and 12 points in their bags.
