The MotoGP legend and Honda’s rider Marc Marquez is among the many applauding Max Verstappen for the amazing performance put forth by the Dutchman in the 2023 season. Hence, as the grid prepares for the upcoming 2024 season challenges, Marquez spoke highly of the reigning world champion.

Marquez related to the 2023 performance of the 26-year-old and explained that Verstappen was ambitious. The MotoGP veteran highly liked this quality of the F1 driver and further highlighted that he had “a killer” personality. This made the Dutchman stand out from his peers and bring forth the best performance in the sport.

Max is ambitious and I like that. Then of course talented, but then a killer. You must be a killer in sports if you want to be the best.

Additionally, Marc Marquez insisted that despite many fast drivers on the grid, Verstappen was in a different league of his own due to his skills in managing the pressure. This was the most difficult skill to obtain for any F1 driver according to the MotoGP maestro. The reigning world champion managed the pressure very well, and this further enabled Verstappen to be so dominant in Formula 1.

Red Bull to reveal their challenger on 15th February as Max Verstappen returns from winter vacation

The Dutchman enjoyed a lovely retreat alongside his girlfriend Kelly Piquet and her daughter Penelope. As images and videos get shared of Verstappen returning back to town after the winter break, the 26-year-old will now train and prepare for the testing session in just 30 more days. Red Bull is all set and ready to reveal its challenger to the public shortly.

Additionally, the Red Bull’s challenger for 2024, presumably the RB20 will be unveiled to the public on 15th February 2024. Some news about the RB20 had resurfaced during the end of 2023, about the car failing the crash test ahead of the season. However, since then Milton Keynes has been desperately working over the car to produce the best results during the following season.

Red Bull also just missed out on a perfect season with Ferrari scoring a victory. This brought the total race wins to just 21 out of 22 for Milton Keynes and 19 race wins for Verstappen. Hence, this motivates the team to push further to finally achieve the unachievable and etch the team’s name forever in the history of Formula 1.
