The Monegasque needs to be ahead with decisions instead of relying on last-minute changes.

The Bahrain Grand Prix was not the race Charles Leclerc would have wanted. The Monegasque driver started second on the grid and had full advantage to claim the pole position. But to his misfortune, the car faced a lot of issues during the race. Leclerc’s car was getting locked up in every corner, affecting his pace altogether. Many of the drivers so the opportunity to take over, leaving the Monegasque driver struggling behind.

His frustration was seen during his radio conversation, where he was very dissatisfied. His team mate on the other hand Carlos Sainz Jr., was not only able to take over but also put himself on the podium. Last year the Spaniard was the only Red Bull driver to have a pole position. He even had an intense on-track battle with his teammate. Putting light on this situation the F1 pundit Naomi Schiff thinks perhaps Sainz is smarter when it comes to making certain decisions ahead of the race. While talking to the media she added,

There have been moments where things happened in Charles’ garage that weren’t necessarily happening on Carlos’ side, on race day. That’s because it seemed like Carlos was ahead on a few things. Charles, maybe, relies on his speed quite a lot.
Naomi Schiff said.

According to the F1 pundit, Charles Leclerc needs to reevaluate, his planning before the race. Perhaps just like his teammate, he needs to think about things in advance. Well Bahrain was just one race, there are still 23 races in the hands of the Monegasque driver to prove himself and wipe off all the speculations.

Charles Leclerc has broken down the brake problem that affected his performance during the Bahrain GP

Charles Leclerc was sidelined for all 57 laps in the Bahrain Grand Prix due to a brake problem. Leclerc, who placed second in qualifying, was hoping to have a successful start to 2024, but he was beaten by George Russell and fell behind Sergio Perez and his teammate Carlos Sainz.

After battling lock-ups and six wide runs in the first ten laps, Leclerc eventually identified a brake-related problem that was slowing him down. For the first ten laps, despite having crazy brake balance to the rear, he was unable to pass through Turns 9 and 10. In addition to making significant changes, he would lock every lap.

Obviously, not the race the Monegasque wanted, it was frustrating for him, as he had been looking forward to the race for quite some time now. He had wished to give better results this weekend, but despite all his efforts, he was unable to do so. Now he wishes to work on all the issues before the next race.
