Thanks, Günther. Thanks for taking me on the journey in 2017 and thanks for bringing me on board again in 2022. It has been both fun and tremendously challenging – but never boring. So long and all the best.

What’s next for Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen after Guenther Steiner’s departure

Guenther Steiner was the most influential person at the Haas F1 team. The 58-year-old kept the team intact throughout difficult periods. However, the American team failed to make progress in the past two seasons which played a role in his departure. This puts Haas in a tough spot before the 2024 season.

Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen could be worried about the team’s position at the start of the season. The two drivers have already been disappointed with a lack of progress in the latter half of 2023. Moreover, Hulkenberg is even rumored to be in contact with the Stake F1 team for 2025. Guenther Steiner’s absence might convince the German to jump ship for the following season.

Certainly, Haas is up for a difficult start to the upcoming season. Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen would be looking to make the most out of the first half of the year before the team could find a new direction. It remains to be seen if the American team could bring in results in 2024.
