“Nothing is certain,” Felipe Drugovich expects fewer odds for Formula 1 with ‘Market changing everyday’
Felipe Drugovich
Felipe Drugovich, a Brazilian Driver, is currently driving and leading the Formula 2 championship. If he manages to win the junior formula category a seat would still be in doubt for the driver next season. The most ideal category for Felipe Drugovich would love to race for is Formula 1 the pinnacle of motorsport. But recent events say a lot about the scarcity in the Formula 1 world.
With 20 drivers only driving on the grid, it’s really difficult for a driver to make their way into the Formula 1 car. Winning races and championship is still far away for the best quality drivers that dream of a seat in the sport. Formula 2 gives out a winner every year, but with constant seats every year there are still chances for a driver to end up on a reserve part of a team.
Oscar Piastri is one of the best examples of a long wait a driver needs to stick with before entering the sport. Oscar won the 2021 Formula 2 championship but still has no seat for the 2023 season. If Felipe Drugovich comes out as a winner this season he would have to wait until an opening is made for a young driver to take part.

Felipe Drugovich on rumours for a seat in Formula 1 in 2023
Felipe is being rumoured to be a part of Williams or Aston Martin either as a full-time driver or as a reserve driver. With both the teams still not playing at the top, Felipe will have to serve the sport starting from the team at the bottom. Anyway, Felipe slams all the rumours and only wants to focus on his Formula 2 season as of now.
“As long as nothing is presented to me, nothing is certain. My focus is one hundred per cent on my work this season,” said Felipe Drugovich.
Felipe Drugovich is currently leading the Formula 2 championship with 21 points to Sauber’s French junior, Theo Pourchaire. With more than 8 races yet to come, the championship could swing anyway but as of now, Felipe looks to have an upper hand.
