Thank goodness for drivers such as Sir Lewis Hamilton, who has had the courage to say that human rights issues are around and that he is not convinced that F1 going to countries such as Bahrain and Saudi Arabia helps change happen.
House of Lord member said during a UK Parliament session

The main topic of discussion during the debate was powerful countries like Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, using sporting events to ‘sportwash’ their controversial human rights track record. The debate also revolved around F1’s viewpoint behind staging Grand Prix events in such countries.

Lewis Hamilton claims the W15 is not the ‘evil-sister’ of Mercedes’ 2023 challenger

Ahead of the ongoing Australian GP weekend, he was asked to dwell on the Mercedes W15 and while doing so, he admitted that the car is better than last year’s challenger.

It’s definitely not the evil sister or anything like that. I think we have an amazing car and there’s a lot of potential in it, and I think we just haven’t maximised it through set-up and through, ultimately, mistakes. We were obviously not happy with the performance of those first couple of races but I think there’s a lot more potential in it that we haven’t quite extracted yet.
Lewis Hamilton said in an interview with F1

Hamilton is extremely optimistic regarding the prospects of the W15 during the course of the ongoing season. The Brackley-based team is hard at work in trying to improve the car as much as possible, and the Brit feels there is a lot to come from him this year. The ongoing campaign is only two rounds down and including this Sunday’s Australian GP, there are still a total of 22 Grand Prix remaining on the calendar.
