“People deserve a second chance,” Max Verstappen reckons a second chance for Juri Vips.

Max Verstappen and Juri Vips
Max Verstappen wants to give Juri Vips a second chance after the 21-year-old was found using racial slur in a gaming live stream. Christian Horner earlier spoke about a helping hand given to Vips even though Red Bull had already ended the contract’s terms with the Estonian. Juri was a test and reserve driver for Red Bull, but the controversy has ended his association with the team, no matter the reason for mental health given by Horner. He is already suspended from the Red Bull Young drivers programme and was found driving his Hitech car with a white racing suit and black helmet.
Juri was criticized by all the fans around the world which now has more or less ruined his career with many young talents fighting for the same position. But with still a little support from Red Bull, he would definitely want to cure all his problems and show the world a better Vips now. But his dreams might already have come to an end with Helmut Marko confirming no support to the young driver, giving him no more chances to get his seat confirmed at the high level of motorsport.
Though Max would still want a second chance for the young driver, “I do feel that people deserve a second chance. Probably not a third, but things can be very easily said probably sometimes not even really thought about how bad it can hurt someone,” said the Dutchman.

As a reserve driver for Red Bull, it is obvious that Max would have a talk and a kind relationship with the young driver looking for his seat in the future. He complimented Juri for his gold nature and explained his deeds as a mistake leading to a second chance to become a better person.
“I think he really understood what he did wrong because, of course, he is also now in a very difficult moment now in his career,” Verstappen continued.
“I think people deserve that second chance to show that they learnt from what they did wrong and actually go out there and show that you can be a better person or at least be more educated about what you are going to say,” concluded the regaining world champion.
Juri as mentioned was seen with a black helmet and white suit still driving for Hitech. He finished fifth and eighth in the race and is overall eighth in the Formula 2 table.
