Alpine racer Pierre Gasly has had quite a significant rise to glory at his new team while working alongside fellow French driver Esteban Ocon. Pierre finally left the RBR umbrella after being stuck in their Red Bull and AlphaTauri loop ever since his debut in Formula 1 in 2017. He jumped at the opportunity of replacing two-time World Champion Fernando Alonso at Alpine after the Spaniard left for filling in Sebastian Vettel’s seat at Aston Martin. And in just his first year with the Enstone outfit, Gasly clinched a podium finish with his brilliant drive in Zandvoort.

While Pierre’s professional life has been going all good since his contract with Alpine is set to go into 2024 as well, his love life has been blossoming too. The French driver is currently dating Paris-based 19-year-old Portuguese model Francisca ‘Kika’ Cerqueira Gomes. The two were first seen together in 2022, according to People.com. The couple went Instagram official last year, and were even spotted at the Cannes Film Festival where they attended the screening of ‘La Passion De Dodin Bouffant’.

In a recent Instagram post made by Kika Cerqueira, the 2003-born shared a reel with all her memories from last year that she treasures the most. In it, there was a clip of her dancing and kissing at a nightclub with Pierre Gasly. The young couple seemed so much in love as they twirled around and enjoyed their time. Kika’s other Instagram posts confirm that she spent the New Year’s week with Pierre in Dubai. She even captioned her latest post saying that they have managed to stick to the traditions of welcoming the new year in Dubai as they had done the same in 2022 and 2023.

Pierre Gasly has revealed how his dynamics with teammate Esteban Ocon worsened

Pierre Gasly joining Alpine has made the team a truly all-French squad as his teammate Esteban Ocon is also from the same country. But there have been several rumors that all is not well between Gasly and Ocon. The two were quite close friends since they grew up in the same junior racing circuit together, but the clashes happened once they went up to the competitive level in karting. Pierre Gasly recalled how things turned sour between him and Esteban Ocon on the F1 BeyondtheGrid podcast.

The relationship unfortunately got a lot worse at some point in karting when we started to fight for the World Cup, European Championship, and also National Championship.

In other news, Pierre Gasly has now confirmed that there is no proper relationship between him and his teammate anymore. He indicated that what he needs from Ocon is his commitment to their team, and beyond that, he is not concerned with the French driver. And Esteban Ocon himself has almost equalled Gasly’s score at Alpine in 2023. Currently, Ocon is enjoying the F1 off-season with his new girlfriend Flavy Barla, who is a Cote d’Azur pageant contestant.
