Max Verstappen‘s domination in the F1 grid has been nothing short of awe-inspiring. With an impressive ten victories out of twelve races so far, he only surrendered two races to his teammate Sergio Perez. Notably, Max has achieved an astounding eight consecutive wins since the Miami Grand Prix, where he had a lowly ninth-place start, similar to Belgium’s sixth spot.
With the Dutchman’s recent victory in Spa, it leaves him just one victory shy of matching Sebastian Vettel‘s remarkable decade-long record of 13 consecutive wins. Timo Glock firmly believes that there is nothing that can stop Max from emulating the German champion and continuing his dominant streak. Writing about Max Verstappen‘s utter dominance on his Sky Germany blog, he quoted that it is “unable to stop Verstappen.”
Max’s recent performance at the Belgium Grand Prix exemplified his dominance. Despite starting from a seemingly disadvantaged position, Max quickly dispelled everyone ahead of him and snatched the lead off Sergio Perez’s hands in just 17 laps’ time. The Two-time champion went on to win the race by over 22 seconds. Amused by the Dutchman’s display, Glock is convinced that “at the moment, there is nothing that can stop Verstappen.”

Could Max Verstappen break Sebastian Vettel’s record of 9 wins in a row?

The German pundit lauds the Dutchman for his exceptional racecraft. He masterfully managed his tires and executed overtaking manoeuvres with precision. Looking ahead to the second half of the season, Glock is confident that Max will carry his success forward. “Verstappen will pick up where he left off at Spa after the summer break,” Glock said.
Glock’s belief is grounded in Max’s consistent high-level performance, where he has displayed otherworldly racing prowess, regardless of unfavourable starting positions. Max’s strategic approach to racing, highlighted by his exceptional tire management, has been a defining factor in his success on the track.
Max’s lead in the standings is a testament to his sheer dominance. He sits an astonishing 125 points ahead of his closest championship contender, teammate, Sergio Perez. The Dutchman is on the course of mirroring Sebastian Vettel’s record of nine consecutive wins in 2013, where Vettel utterly dominated the season after the summer break. Max’s current form and consistency suggest that he could very well challenge and surpass Vettel’s long-standing feat, setting a new benchmark in the sport.
