Lando Norris is seen by McLaren as the driver who would carry the weight of the team in the future years of the sport, and as things stand, has a contract with the British team until 2025.

Moreover, Norris since joining the team has shown himself well against the lights of Carlos Sainz and Daniel Ricciardo and has cemented his place on the team.

While Lando has found a home for himself in the sport, he feels that communication is key in F1 and thinks his team is really good at understanding his instructions and acting accordingly.

The 2022 season is given proof of it, as, after 18 rounds, Lando Norris has managed to amass 101 points for the team whereas Daniel Ricciardo has only contributed 29 points.

Lando, just like last year, has carried the weight of the team on his shoulders single-handedly and has once again shown why he is rated extremely high on the grid and why he has a contract until 2025 at McLaren.
