The Red Bull F1 team has recently found itself in immense highlight for failing a crash test with its 2024 car. The RB19 was an absolute beast and because of this, people have started putting some shade on the RB20 even before it has hit the track. The failed test has given a reason to the critics to put some shade on the Austrian outfit, but they are not bothered by it.
Helmut Marko, the Red Bull team adviser, is well-known in the F1 paddock for his brash/blunt nature, and with the ongoing crash-test saga, he has taken the time to come out and put an end to all the negative publicity that Red Bull has amassed for its recent off-track activities.

While talking about the RB20’s failed crash test and whether there are concerns within the Milton-Keynes-based team because of it, Marko recently said as reported by, LWOS:
Ridiculous. If we had passed the first test, there would be a problem. Then we would have done a bad job.
Looking at the reaction of Marko, it seems that Red Bull is not bothered by its RB20 failed test, they are currently in the process of testing out a few things and thus, don’t see the failed test as a massive problem. Expectations are high on them heading into the upcoming F1 campaign.
Red Bull is the favorite to triumph in 2024
While Red Bull’s preparation for the 2024 F1 season has got off to a slightly shaky start with its recent failed crash test, they are the team going into this year’s campaign as the out-and-out favorite. The Austrian outfit has been dominating F1 for the last few years.

The current set of regulations has suited Red Bull quite well and this is one of the main reasons why they have won pretty much everything since 2022. Keeping this in view, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez are once again expected to be seen doing their thing at the front end of the grid.

The Austrian outfit has everything going for it at the pinnacle of motor racing but despite this, there is a slight chance that they could face some real competition this year. Mercedes and the Maranello-based Ferrari F1 team are being seen as the outfits that might take the fight to Red Bull.
