Rodger Federer, the Tennis legend, is in Miami for the upcoming F1 Grand Prix, and ahead of the spectacle, he has shown his support for Lewis Hamilton. Despite starting the race from P13 on the grid, Federer believes the former 7-time F1 World Champion can still have a productive outing at the Miami Street Circuit.

Rodger Federer feels Max Verstappen has the best car, but despite this fact, he has backed Lewis Hamilton to have a great outing. While talking about the same, he said, “I still hope for Lewis can have a great race here and hopefully another great season. I’ve gotten to meet Lewis on many occasions.” The Tennis legend has made it clear that he is backing the Brit to have a great outing at the Miami Grand Prix.

Moreover, he has met Lewis Hamilton quite a few times and is well aware of how he is as a person. While Rodger Federer has shown his support for the Brit, it will not be easy for the Brit to make his way to the front end of the grid. P13 is quite a tricky position, and at the start of the race, it would be crucial for Hamilton to be extra cautious.

On lap one, there would be a host of cars around him trying to make up places, and it would be crucial not to get involved in unnecessary tussles. It could damage the W14 with the potential threat of an early exit from the race. This is the last thing Lewis Hamilton would want coming away from Miami.

Lewis Hamilton’s teammate, George Russell, is in P6

While Lewis Hamilton would look to make his way up, starting from P13 on the grid in Miami, his teammate George Russell would start his outing from a decent P6 on the grid. It is down to the young Brit’s last-gasp effort during the Q2 session that allowed him to take part in the Q3 session of qualifying.

However, things are going to be tough for Russell as well during the race, considering the cars that are starting around him. He has got Pierre Gasly starting ahead of him in P5, whereas Charles Leclerc is right behind him in P7. Alpine has looked fast in Miami, and the SF-23 in the hands of Charles Leclerc is always a handful.

Considering the starting positions of both Mercedes drivers, would they be able to make a strong impression during the race? Or would they be seen tumbling down the order against their rivals, considering how timid the W14 has looked in Miami? No matter what happens, one thing is guaranteed, and that is a lot of nerve-wracking action.
