Sebastian Vettel is all set to make a return to racing. The 36-year-old driver is going to test drive the Porsche 963 Hypercar. On Friday 22nd, Porshe made an official announcement, and fans are going crazy. Vettel is a prominent name in the world of motorsports.
The German driver will do the 36-hour test that will take place at MotorLand Aragon in Spain. Porsche is currently preparing for Le Mans. It is the most excruciating race any driver will ever participate in.

The race goes on for 24 hours straight hours, and each team has three drivers, who take turns throughout those hours. Sebastian Vettel is excited about testing the Porsche 963 Hypercar.
I’m looking forward to testing the Porsche 963. I already got the chance to get a feel for the car during a rollout in Weissach. I’ve always followed other racing series and my curiosity for endurance events encouraged me to just give it a shot. Now I’m excited about the long run in Aragon and I’m looking forward to my time behind the wheel.Sebastian Vettel said in an interview with motorsport.com
This is the first time Sebastian Vettel will be driving a Hypercar. The machinery has its differences compared to an F1 car. In contrast to the latter, which has no downforce during launch and is difficult to maneuver off the line, the Hypercar’s 2,000 kg downforce produces remarkable traction off the line and slows it down when traveling at high speeds.
Toto Wolff feels Sebastian Vettel can compete again in F1
The team principal of the Mercedes, Toto Wolff, is looking for someone to fill in the place of Lewis Hamilton after he moves to Ferrari next season. There are many speculations as to who that might be, but Wolff suggested that the former four-time world champion might be the one they are looking for. Wolff and Vettel have been in regular contact.

Sebastian is a great guy and a giant of this sport. I think he still has the speed. After three or four races, we have to decide whether to go for youth or experience. Or do we optimise in the short term and give the youngsters more time to gain experience?Toto Wolff said in an interview with skysports
Sebastian Vettel retired from F1 at the end of the 2022 season. However, despite being away from the sport, he still is a fast racing driver. Being a former four-time world champion, he has the pedigree to make a sensational return, and considering this, Toto Wolff’s antics regarding the 2025 Mercedes seat will be a fascinating watch.
