Sergio Perez apologizes to wife and family after being ‘caught’ partying with numerous women in Monaco

Sergio Perez had an amazing victory in the Monaco Grand Prix last week after a mess from the Ferrari crew which made Perez and Verstappen undercut both the cars and Perez took the lead of the race, followed by Sainz and Verstappen, and that was the order on the podium. The celebrations took place and were quite a sight to look at; obviously, Perez is the first Mexican driver to win at the Monaco Grand Prix, and possibly one of the best Mexican drivers to be ever in the sport, and he celebrated accordingly.

But it’s not easy to keep privacy when you are Sergio ‘Checo’ Perez partying heavily drunk and especially when it becomes difficult to walk (after getting so boozed up);
There are cameras everywhere and Checo found himself in two compromising situations post the party. Two videos of the Mexican were released after the party; in one of the videos, he was unable to walk properly, typical scenes after heavy partying. But the other video was one with all the controversy created over social media. It showed the Red Bull driver being extremely close to a girl who was evidently not his wife, and he was almost seen kissing her. This created a huge mess in the fans; some believed it was not Checo while the others were disappointed in him.
Perez apologizes to his wife on social media through IG story.
A few days after the release of the video, Perez uploaded a story in Mexican which described the event. The story stated that he didn’t mean to do anything wrong and “it was just a bad party.” The Mexican also stated that the relations between him and his wife are good and there are no cracks.
“I have seen the videos that have been circulating about me and I take responsibility for it. It was a bad party that I didn’t know how to control at the level of the person I am, but it was just that, a very bad party.People close to me know my values and the kind of person I am. For those who ask me, we are more united than ever, my wife and I. And for those who only want to hurt us, I wish them the best. Thank you all for your love and I apologize to all the people who love me because those videos do not represent me at all. We will not talk any more about this topic, which only makes us forget the great moment we are living as a family. Thank you,” is the direct translation of his Instagram story, As DailyStar uploaded. Some of the fans were also disappointed in him because recently Perez’s kid was born, and some of them said that his wife didn’t deserve this.
No statement by Perez has been released about the incident stating anything, other than the one mentioned.
