Sergio Perez breaks silence on Red Bull’s inappropriate behaviour investigation into Christian Horner

Reigning F1 champions Red Bull opened an investigation into their Team Principal Christian Horner. He was accused of inappropriate behavior by a female employee and the team assigned an external law firm to investigate the matter. The entire Red Bulls crew refused to address the drama until the RB20 launch. Red Bull’s Mexican driver Sergio Perez has given a statement when asked about the issues.

Despite the drama, Christian Horner was recently seen with Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez attending Red Bull’s 2024 car launch. As of now, no conclusions have been made, and there are still questions about whether Horner will be seen during the Sakhir Pre-Season Testing 2024 or not. Perez, while talking about the drama and reports around Horner pointed out that he isn’t concerned about the controversy and he is focused on racing, alongside the team’s development.

I think we just want to go racing. We are a race team and we want the whole team to stay together because we’ve been successful. It will be ideal to just keep the whole team together and just focus on racing. Obviously, there are some things out there but the most important is that we stay together as a team. The main goal remembering we are here for racing; we love it and we go racing together. We know that Christian is a key player in our organization.

Sergio Perez said he just want to do racing with the whole team because of the success they have achieved in the last three years. He also said many things are going on in the team but our focus should be on racing. Perez also acknowledged Horner as a key player in the organization and said he plays an important role in the team.

Max Verstappen responds to allegation against Christian Horner

Max Verstappen the three-time world champion made his remarks on the allegations made against Christian Horner and would it impact his performance. He responded by saying that Christian and his relations are perfect. Verstappen focuses on his performance and discussing things with the engineers. He also said that his whole life is not for Formula 1 and is doing various things aside from Formula 1.

Verstappen and Horner have good ties with each other as Horner made a bold move by signing Verstappen and giving him a permanent seat in the Red Bull. Horner also played a crucial role in Verstappen’s maiden driver championship in 2021. At the moment their ties are very good.
