While Sergio Perez is in a joyous mood ahead of the second leg of the ongoing campaign, deep down, he is well aware of the task at hand in his RB19. He was under much pressure during the first leg because of his incredibly average performance compared to the reigning World Champion.

He was nowhere near Max Verstappen, and it is very much evident from the huge gap the two drivers currently have in the Drivers Championship. With the second leg just a few days away, several people will have their eyes glued on the exploits of Perez in the remaining ten Grand Prix events.

However, Sergio Perez is a seasoned campaigner racing in F1 for several years. He has faced difficult situations before and has got the support of Christian Horner and Co. to get out of the pickle he was in during the first leg. The upcoming race at Zandvoort holds a lot of significance for him.
